The SCOTT Spark DC is a full-suspension mountain bike with 140 mm of front and 135 mm of rear travel. "DC" stands for downcountry: light and fast like a cross-country bike, but with enough travel not to fear technical descents. One bike like this replaces two — you race it and you ride descents on it at the weekend.

The frame has an adjustable head angle and fork lock, so the same bike can be set up for a marathon or for looser riding.
