The SCOTT Vitess is a touring (trekking) bike for everyday riding, built to need as little maintenance as possible: the gears are hidden inside the rear hub (Shimano Nexus) and a Gates belt replaces the chain. Nothing to oil, nothing to stain your trousers, and you can change gear even at a standstill.
The bike arrives fully equipped: mudguards, a rack and lights powered by a front hub dynamo — no batteries to change.
This model has the sloping (SLOPE) frame: the top tube is dropped, so getting on is easier than on a classic frame.
