The SCOTT Scale Gravel is a rigid 29-inch flat-bar bike: mountain bike frame and tyres, without the weight of suspension. It suits riders whose routes run on forest trails and gravel roads rather than tarmac, and who prefer a more upright position than drop bars allow.

Wide 2.4-inch tyres absorb small bumps on their own, so you rarely miss the suspension, while the rigid frame turns every pedal stroke into forward motion.
